The Mechanics at the garage maintain a large fleet of vehicles of various sizes and types. They include the Police and Fire Department vehicles along with all of Public Works and Recreation vehicles and equipment. All of the City vehicles receive regular service, which includes oil changes and inspection of all fluids and brake systems. Keeping the fleet of mowers running for the entire summer is in itself a huge part of their responsibilities. With well over 20 years experience each, these mechanics know what they are doing and carry out these repairs daily. Every piece of equipment and vehicle has a maintetance file that is kept up to date with all the work that has been completed.
